The top guided window is popular in many homes because it is a single window that allows for good ventilation to suit many types of homes.
This window took hold in the 60s and 70s in single-family and funkis homes which were typically built with large window sections without rails and posts.
The top guided window is installed with sliding brackets on the side. When you open the window at the bottom, the window frame slides downwards at the same time, providing effective ventilation. An adjustable friction screw is mounted on the sliding bracket so that the window can be kept in open position.
The handle on Outline’s top guided windows can also be locked in an air gap opening with a smaller opening. This allows for air to come inside, but the window cannot be completely opened from the outside.
The top guided window can advantageously be combined with fixed frame windows.
